If you’re anything like me, pushing yourself comes more easily than loving yourself. If you’re anything like me, giving to others comes more easily than giving to yourself. If you’re anything like me, moving quickly comes more easily than slowing down.
Does this sound at all familiar?
I just have a feeling that so many of us share this default setting.
But what I love about life is that our default settings can be changed.
I recently brought the Ask Away feature back to Soul Speak, which I’m really excited about!
I wanted to create a space where we could bravely ask the questions that may make us feel exposed or silly or… human.
And I wanted it to be where you weren’t just asking me for the answer, but you were asking an entire community to listen to you and to offer support to you.
What you ask is completely up to you.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes beautiful lessons can hide in a seemingly hurtful and negative experience?
I’ll share an example to show you what I mean:
I received an email today that managed to press many buttons deep within my soul. Among many other hurtful words that were said, the main gist of the email was to tell me that I wasn’t running my giveaway on the premise of giving but rather it was just a marketing scheme. Do you believe that you have the power to change your life? to increase your joy? to experience abundance in all areas?
I definitely do. 100%
But what I’ve found is that, just like all of us, I can easily forget this and switch from being a conscious creator to living on autopilot.
And this moving through life half-asleep can sort of creep up on us, too. It seems to happen gradually over time – we start to feel sleepier until we eventually are sleepwalking through our life.

I promised myself that I would always show up here authentically and vulnerably, and I felt that a video was the purest way that I could convey to you a message that I received a couple of days ago from the universe to stop resisting life.
