Today is a special day! My sweet dog-ter, Xena, is celebrating her 12th birthday!
Xena is a beautiful Norwegian Elkhound who introduced herself to Dan and me by bounding down a mountain road with a huge smile on her face. That was nine years ago, and we have shared many years of love since then.
She was our neighbors’ dog, but after meeting and feeling such a strong connection, we have been almost inseparable since. Thankfully, through a series of miraculous events, she was able to come with More

Each Friday, I choose one of your questions and do my best to offer guidance and support to help you along your journey.
This week, however, I have a question for each of you! I would love if we could all look within our souls and find the answer to it. If you feel comfortable doing so, please leave you answer below.
Here is the question:
When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone and moved closer toward your dream?
We are all creatures of habit, and we all like our lives to be comfortable More

I am a thinker. I am comfortable in my mind. I love to analyze. I love to know. I love to question. I love my inquisitive nature and all that I have learned about the world that I live in because of it.
But what if all of this knowing and thinking becomes a distraction? What if “knowing” how to fix a problem never gets you to the solution?
This is what has happened to me.
I love reading books on spirituality. One common theme in these books is the power of stillness, slowing down, and More

One of my clients recently shared a story with me about a message she received from her spirit guides that was so “hit ya over the head” obvious that she almost ignored it. She and her family had recently moved to a new town and she wasn’t yet familiar with all of the streets and how to get from Point A to Point B. She was on her way to pick her daughter up from her first dance lesson (her husband had dropped their daughter More

This week, I’m thrilled to share Alice’s soulful interview with you! She is one of my dearest friends, and sharing her wise words here feels amazing. I had several aha moments when I read her responses. Alice has such a beautiful soul, and I feel truly blessed More

This week I chose a question that we can all answer – it can apply to each of us. I would love if we could all look within our souls and find the answer. If you feel comfortable doing so, I would love for you to leave your answer below.

I have had a really rough year (financially, physically, and emotionally). Now that the holidays are here, it More

I’m being reminded lately that I am a soul living in a human body. And what this means is that in order to continue growing and evolving spiritually, I have to remember to keep this machine running smoothly.
Are you the type of person who listens to your body right away when it sends warning signs – when it lets you know that it needs some tlc? Or do you continue to push until your body eventually breaks?
I definitely tend to push. Our bodies have amazing ways of sending us warning signals More

Featuring Tess Marshall from The Bold Life
We create a soul disconnection when we don’t feel comfortable in our own skin. We often pretend to be someone we’re not, in order to temporarily feel good. We easily catch ourselves seeking approval, acceptance, titles, fame or achievement.
We give up who we are and place value on external people, places and things.
We pretend everything is good when it isn’t; we pretend to be brave when we are More
