This morning, I was in the kitchen getting my breakfast when I heard my sweet dog, Xena, barking in the backyard. She rarely barks, so I went to the door to check and saw two men standing in the middle of my yard. This is definitely not something that has ever happened before. We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood with a fenced-in yard.
Something took over me that can only be described as a maternal instinct to take care of my baby, and I threw open the door and ran out (robe and all) to find More

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage – Lao Tzu
Every path to success has been littered with apprehension, ambiguity, and fear – as well as perseverance, calculated risks, and massive action.
The difference between someone who fails and someone who succeeds is the courage to take action, repeatedly.
I got pregnant when I was 17 and was a mom to four daughters under the age of four More

I’ve been in a reflective space these last few days.
One exercise in the Soulful Journaling Ecourse that we gave away was to go back and read through your old journals to find patterns that you’ve carried throughout your life.
I’ve been doing this over the past week and had no idea that it would be such a powerful release for me. I never wanted to read through my journals before – it just seemed too painful because I always wrote in them when I was hurting or angry or afraid More

I’ve been communicating with my main spirit guide, Sarah, more and more lately.
And yes, I know how absolutely woo-woo this sounds. I know that. If you’re not sure what to think of this, believe me, I get it! Just a couple of years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it either. But… so many miracles have happened in my life to help me believe, and so I’m 100% on board now. My skepticism has taken a back seat to my spirituality, and I’m enjoying this magical ride! More

When you look at your life – how you spend your days, where you live, who you surround yourself with, etc. – do you feel happy, content, passionate, satisfied, and joyful? Or do you feel resentful, angry, sad, apathetic, and afraid?
Regardless of which description depicts your life, do you believe that you have created it? Would you agree that no one – absolutely no one – is to blame for your unhappiness or dissatisfaction? Just like no one else can take credit for your More

Over the last two months, I have received guidance from two beautiful friends (who each happen to be amazing intuitives): Karen Hager and Donna Hartt.
At different times, they each shared the same message with me: it was time to listen. To the universe. To my guides. To you.
It was time to slow down and re-center myself. It was time to reconnect with my soul and receive the next steps for my journey.
As many of you know, I have been editing my book, More

Have you ever wondered where your beliefs came from? Have you ever stopped to question if they were serving you or hindering you?
Our beliefs are truly our foundation – they determine what we believe we can and can’t do. Before we can make changes in our lives, we first have to examine our beliefs.
How would your life be different if you believed anything were possible?
Imagine for a moment that you knew two kids – a brother and sister. One of them was told by her parents that she could More

We’ve all had that moment in our life where we realized that no one was going to save us.
All of our fantasies of being rescued from ourselves, our life, everything, came crashing down. No one was going to swoop in and fix everything that needed fixing. No one was going to wave their magic wand and sprinkle fairy dust over our life and make it all better. No one was coming.
And realizing this sucked. We were probably scared and angry and hurt. We may have even thrown a temper tantrum More
