This week, I am featuring my friend, Susann Taylor Shier from Soul Mastery!
Susann and I met last year when the wonderful Jennifer Longmore introduced us. Since then, we have formed a loving friendship. She has been helping people reconnect with their soul for over 20 years – through her bestselling books, workshops, and speaking engagements. She is an intuitive, a healer, and a beautiful spirit.

You have been lovingly helping others connect with their soul for over 20 years, and I would love for you to share how you began this journey.
I lived in a spiritual community right after I went to college at the University of Colorado many moons ago. I was one of the primary energy healer practitioners there for many years. When the community began to shift its focus and we were all moving towards finding our own way in the world, my whole world came tumbling down. My husband and I separated as the community was dissolving. He went to South Africa with my good friend and left me with our daughter. My daughter freaked out and refused to sleep without me. I tried everything to help her, and finally a woman who did soul clearings just happened to come to the community. Whew! She shifted the contract my daughter had with her dad that made her terrified to be without him. Immediately she slept soundly by herself. Seeing this shift in her helped me realize that I needed to help others at the soul level clear these deep patterns that keep us locked in patterns that were not understood. I call it the missing piece. I began my practice after moving out of the community, and the magic never stopped.
We had such a beautiful Akashic Records session together, and I would love for you to share more about what this is and how beneficial it can be.
The Akashic Records are the records of the knowledge of all souls for all time. What I focus on is uncovering a person’s soul gifts, strengths, purposes, and soul challenges. When you know your soul purposes and gifts, it gives you permission to live from your magnificence and feel understood for all that you know you are. When you acknowledge and shift your soul challenges, you change your life patterns at the deepest level. It frees you to be in command of your life and create it from your heart and soul. What could be better than that?
Do you have any tips for those who are longing to connect with their soul’s purpose?
Oh my, I have written three books – SOUL MASTERY: Accessing the Gifts of Your Soul; SOUL RADIANCE: Bring Your Soul Riches to Life and SOUL REUNION: The Return Home From Separation – that are chock full of tips, exercises, and tools. I have dozens of workshops in recordings as well.
What I will share here is that each person is unique in their approach to their soul’s emergence, but let me start by saying that it is vital to not only access your soul’s resources of joy, abundance, and wealth that it holds for you but to learn to bring that spiritual wealth into your daily life. That is what I love to focus on. It is not enough, as you know, to meditate and be isolated to make our life work. We all chose to be here on planet Earth to enjoy the riches it has to offer, so it is vital to interchange with it on all levels to truly feel alive and fruitful.

Meditation can be a great tool to get in touch with that resource but it is then upto us to consciously live life from that consciousness.
