And now, let’s get to this week’s beautiful soul and her inspiring book!

This week, I am featuring Lisa Cohen and her beautiful book, Grace is Born!

Lisa sent me her book last summer, and I immediately fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to help spread the word about it.

Not only is the story inspiring and soulful, the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. (Lisa wrote the book and internationally celebrated artist, Judith Joseph, painted the illustrations. Graphic and fine artist Lisa Kaczer-Boyce helped bring the words and the paintings to life on the page.)

Lisa wrote Grace is Born to help inspire us to become instruments of change in our own lives and spread purposeful acts of compassion throughout the world. It’s written as fiction in poetic verse about a woman named Grace, who truly could be any of us. We have all felt her struggle of being born in divine light and then feeling beaten down by the struggles that so often come to us when we’re a part of this physical world. It’s a book about community and rising together and embracing our divinity to help heal the world.

Lisa writes that, “Grace is Born models harmonious living.  This poetic parable is accompanied by magnificent images.  Grace delivers heart-changing and memorable messages to “sages of all ages, wearing the face of every race, talking the tongue of everyone.”

It’s Lisa’s dream that this beautiful book’s positive message will be heard around the world. She hopes that it will inspire others to take action and consciously practice compassion.

As she writes in the book, “Take my hand, together we will far surpass the stance of survival and become enraptured by the dance of revival.”

To make her dream come true of sharing Grace is Born with the world, she has launched a campaign on Kickstarter to raise the funds needed to have the book printed. (Kickstarter is a website that helps bring creative projects to life. People pledge to donate toward projects they believe in, and they receive incentives/rewards for doing so when the project is completed.)

For as little as $1, you can be part of this beautiful project – helping to spread love and positivity throughout the world! 

Lisa has several tiers for pledges, and she’s offering some great incentives, including the Grace is Born hardcover book, the chance to have a name put into the book, beautiful notecards of the inside pages, a vibrant poster, access to her private InSparkle Compassion Facebook group, and even the chance to attend special events and celebration weekends!

This book truly deserves to be printed, and Lisa would be so grateful for any support you can offer. If you aren’t able to donate at this time, you can still help her by spreading the word about it.
