Shared Wisdom – The Day I Spoke to God and Got an Answer

Shared Wisdom Guest Post
Featuring Stephanie Beeby from The Soul Whisperer

Stephanie wrote this powerful and deeply moving post last fall, on the fifth anniversary of her dad’s death. She is open, raw, and completely vulnerable in both her writing and her video. She chose to share her soul with us so that we could each be present and allow our own authenticity to shine. What I adore about Stephanie is her ability to put herself out there and be completely real. More

Shared Wisdom – Your Truth IS Your Spirituality

Shared Wisdom Guest Post
Featuring Tina Rayner from Rise to Shine Coaching

When I was 11, without any adult influence, I began my search for spirituality. While the rest of my family slept in on Sunday mornings, I decided that I “should” get up early to watch religious programs on TV. I felt extremely guilty when I would always fall asleep during the programs. As I continued my search, I spent 15 years attending a very strict religion, majored in Theology in college, left the church (riddled More

Grateful for Awareness

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to write a post about gratitude!
You can read my previous posts by clicking here.

The last few weeks have been a true wake-up call for me. I have been doing the 21 Days of No Complaining Challenge, which I thought I would breeze through – I’m a pretty positive person. I fill my life with gratitude. I’m a glass is half full sort of gal – no problem!

Wow – was I wrong.

I have always known that our thoughts become our reality More

Shared Wisdom – Time To Climb Out?

Shared Wisdom Guest Post
Featuring Andrea Hess from Empowered Soul

The way I see it, most (not all!) people spend their lives in a little box.  The box provides boundaries, a sense of security, an identity.  The box tells us how to live.  The box eases the responsibility of choice, and so we agree to live in the box.

Some of us look up one day and realize that the box has no lid.

We get curious … what’s up there?  And so we begin to explore what is above the box.  We expand into the vastness More

Saturday Selection – Big Fat Lies Women Tell Themselves

I love it when a book comes into my life at exactly the right moment – just when I need to read it. Has that ever happened to you? This week’s selection was that book for me. It’s called, Big Fat Lies Women Tell Themselves: Ditch Your Inner Critic and Wake Up Your Inner Superstar, and it’s written by the fabulous Amy Ahlers!

Have you ever taken a moment to notice how you talk to yourself? Chances are, it’s not always positive, loving, and kind – More

Intention or Action?

Are you running? Running from your dreams? Running from the possibilities? I sure am. I’ve spent the first couple weeks of this new year running scared. Reaching for my dreams with one hand and putting on the brakes with the other. And then turning around and sprinting back toward my comfort zone.

When I asked you to join me in making this the year that we leap toward our dreams, I had a feeling that it was going to be hard. More

Shared Wisdom – Five Secrets to a Happy, Healthy, & Successful Life

Shared Wisdom Guest Post Featuring Marilyn Tam

How has your first week of the new year been? We start off feeling optimistic and energized – excited for each new possibility. And some of us stay this way – continuing to push forward toward our goals, creating new habits to make sure they happen. But…some of us get discouraged (been there!) – maybe because we got overly excited and set goals without an action plan to reach them. Or maybe the More

Saturday Selection – Intuitive Guidance

I feel really blessed to be supported and loved by some really amazing intuitives, and I am excited to share some of them with you this week.

We have all experienced times in our lives where we felt stuck – some of you may be feeling this way right now. When my own inner guidance feels like it’s been running in neutral for far too long, these are some of the beautiful souls that I turn to. Each of them has honed their gift of seeing and feeling things that we aren’t always able More

What Kind Of Year Is It Going To Be?

I love the newness and possibilities that are inside each of us during this time of year. We get a fresh slate, and we get to map out the next 12 months. We get to dream and plan and imagine and envision. Nothing is impossible. No dream is too big. Isn’t that an amazing feeling? But while I love this openness and freeing feeling that this newness and possibility brings, I have noticed that there is also an unsettled feeling inside of me. Venturing into the unknown can be scary. Stepping into my dreams requires a leap that might require jumping before I know where I will land. Remembering that I must let go of the good to make room for the great (wise words from my mentor, Steve Harrison) is both exciting and terrifying.

One minute I want to write down all of my dreams and jump into them at full speed. The next I want to crawl back into my comfort zone and stay there forever. It’s not so bad here, I say to myself. And yet, my soul is pleading with me to keep moving forward – to leave the known. It knows that so many beautiful things await me, and I just need to be brave enough to keep moving toward them.

I find it wonderful that the universe always provides us with exactly what we need exactly when More
