If you’re anything like me, your mind tends to have a mind of its own.
This can be a great asset when I am brainstorming and being creative. Because I have a mind that is constantly running and flitting about, I am always filled with ideas. I have an entire stack of paper on my desk where I jot down notes for exciting new projects. I love the energy I get from these ideas, and putting them into action feels wonderful. So I have learned that a busy mind can be a great thing.
However, my mind More

Each day when I sit down to write, I never know who is going to read my posts. I never know how they are going to be received.
I only know what my intention is with writing each word, each page, each post.
And that is to inspire others by sharing my own experiences.
When I began this blogging journey, my intention was (and still is) to write from my heart. I wanted to allow my soul a place to come forward, be open (and vulnerable), and express its deepest wisdom. I hoped that by showing snippets More

Shared Wisdom Guest Post – Featuring Lesley King
I am thrilled about this week’s Shared Wisdom guest post, which was written by Lesley King! Reading it truly helped me explore the way I view my own finances and begin to open myself to an abundant, relaxed mindset – knowing that all is well, and that there is always enough. I know that it will help you, too.
Lesley and I are on very similar paths in that we are both focusing more on allowing our inner wisdom to direct More

We all have great intentions.
We look at the future with eyes of wonder and dream of achieving inner fulfillment, manifesting greatness (however we define that), and accomplishing our deepest desires. We see ourselves and our lives moving forward and becoming more positive and filled with joy. We make plans to reach our dreams – we begin to take action to pursue them.
And sometimes everything goes according to plan, and we reach these dreams right away.
And sometimes we don’t. Sometimes More

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to write a post about gratitude!
You can read my previous posts by clicking here.
Okay – now for today’s post:
When things are going well and life is easy breezy, we are able to think of tons of things that we are grateful for. Everything we look at seems to have a positive glow to it – we are looking at life through a lens of gratitude all of the time.
But what happens when things don’t go according to plan? What happens when life becomes More

The only person we can truly change is ourselves.
What a hard lesson this is to learn, right?
And while I truly thought I have worked through my own need to meld someone else into my version of who they should be, I learned the other day that I may still need to work on this. I have a cat, Buncom (aka: Chunky Bunky Big Fat Monkey) that I love more than life itself. He is my sweet boy. He (and his brother, Biddle) have been with us from the time they were 10 weeks old. And while he is the sweetest More

Have you ever felt called to a higher level of existence, but you resisted because you were afraid to take that leap of faith?
Have you ever had a dream that conveyed a message – a powerful message that you knew needed to be listened to and acted upon?
Did you answer the call and act on it? Or did you push it aside and continue living your comfortable life?
When I am being called to change (even if it is a change that I know will help me live my best life), I have a tendency to run More

Shared Wisdom Guest Post – Featuring Alice Chan
I am so excited that this week’s Shared Wisdom guest post was written by a dear friend of mine. While I just met Alice in June, I feel like I have known her for years. Our connection and friendship was immediate, and while our paths have been very different externally, we have shared many of the same internal struggles. We are kindred spirits who are on a similar journey to live our best lives and inspire others to do the same.
I feel very More
