Okay, so here’s the thing:
We can’t make everyone happy. No matter how hard we try.
We can’t make someone do something that they aren’t ready to do or believe something that they aren’t ready to believe. No matter how much we want them to and how much we believe it will help them.
We just can’t.
We can’t make anyone see the world through our eyes. We can’t make anyone feel how we feel. We can’t make anyone do anything or say anything or feel
Do you know how truly needed you are?
Do you know how much you matter in this world? Do you have any idea how you are changing lives simply by being yourself and by sharing your light with others?
Do you know? Really know?
Because I promise that it’s true. I promise that you’re absolutely positively needed in this world. You are.
When you share your truth with the world – your authentic, vulnerable, completely YOU truth, lives change. It’s just how it works.
When you show
Many of us have lived our entire lives with a deep, dark secret: we fear that if we showed the world our true selves – the dorky, not-so-cool, don’t-have-it-all-figured-out selves – we wouldn’t be accepted.
We worry that the person who we really are wouldn’t be welcomed in this world. And we worry about the biggest consequence of all – that we wouldn’t be loved.
