What we give our attention to is what flourishes in our life. By focusing on it, we allow it to grow.

Do you believe that you have the power to change your life? to increase your joy? to experience abundance in all areas?
I definitely do. 100%
But what I’ve found is that, just like all of us, I can easily forget this and switch from being a conscious creator to living on autopilot.
And this moving through life half-asleep can sort of creep up on us, too. It seems to happen gradually over time – we start to feel sleepier until we eventually are sleepwalking through our life.

I recently watched the pre-release of the wonderful new film, The Cure Is…, which is about the connection between our health, and our beliefs and thoughts.
I have long believed in the mind-body connection, and this film really solidified these beliefs even more. Years ago, I read Louise Hay’s beautiful book, You Can Heal Your Life, which was lifechanging. She helped me see that our thoughts become our reality, and we have the power to change our lives and heal our bodies.

Dan and I were playing mini golf yesterday, and towards the end of the course, we came across a wishing well. We each made a wish, kissed the pennies, and then threw them in. And we went about finishing the game. (We were tied up until the 17th hole, where I took 11 tries to hit the ball in. Needless to say, Dan won.) 🙂
But this whole wishing well idea got me thinking about intentions and goal setting and visioning our best life.
