Thank you for joining us for A Month of Meditation!

Welcome to Day 26!

(If you haven’t read what it’s all about, please click here first.)

I’m so proud of all of us for showing up for ourselves. For knowing that our soul craves this moment of stillness in our day, and for taking action to make that happen. So let’s all pat ourselves on the back for that!

Each day, we’ll click on that Day’s page, and we’ll leave a comment stating that we meditated on that day. That’s all!

If you would like to write more, that’s definitely welcome. It would be really great if we could share about our experiences, too: how we meditated, how long we meditated for, and what the experience was like for us.

Many of us will be using the Re-Awakening Guided Meditation Program, so we can share our experience with that as well.

I’m so excited to get started!

Being a part of a supportive community is half of the fun, so please be sure to check in daily.

Now…let’s go meditate!

P.S. – Please remember to post the artwork on your blogs and share it on FB and Twitter! You can find sample tweets here.

  1. This last week of school has been much tougher than I thought. I finally finished the final exam and I have one more personality profile to get through today. A crying friend whose uncle has liver cancer awakened me this morning. I have been praying all morning for healing and assistance to her family. Her grandmother lost her other son and husband in the last 10 years, so I am sure it was difficult information for her to hear. Sometimes life can surprise us and what seems dire can turn out better than we hoped. I will envision that reality for them. All this has led me to think about the meaning of this weekend and I began to think of all the family and friends that have moved on to another realm. Today I will list them and honor them with directed thoughts. I am so grateful to have had their presence in my life then and now.

  2. Just did about 5 minutes of deep breathing self-meditation before getting ready to go out for dinner and some drinks later. Spending the night in Philly tonight with my fiance, getting away from reality for a bit. Will try to do another meditation before bed later. Good night!

  3. Why is it so hard for a human to sit still for 30 minutes? I think I need more than a month so my intention is to be persistent on this practice. Thanks to Jodi for this.Sharing it here makes me realize that it is not a personal problem. With love, Diego

  4. Tonight was a super quick meditation – just a few minutes of focusing on my breath. For me, this month has been about keeping my commitment to myself to meditate every day – and I’m so glad I didn’t set a time amount. I think as I continue next month, I’ll do the same. No set rules – just being still every day is enough – some days it will be shorter and some longer. But at least I’m practicing awareness. And I love that. :)
