Thank you for joining us for A Month of Meditation!

Welcome to Day 19!

(If you haven’t read what it’s all about, please click here first.)

I’m so proud of all of us for showing up for ourselves. For knowing that our soul craves this moment of stillness in our day, and for taking action to make that happen. So let’s all pat ourselves on the back for that!

Each day, we’ll click on that Day’s page, and we’ll leave a comment stating that we meditated on that day. That’s all!

If you would like to write more, that’s definitely welcome. It would be really great if we could share about our experiences, too: how we meditated, how long we meditated for, and what the experience was like for us.

Many of us will be using the Re-Awakening Guided Meditation Program, so we can share our experience with that as well.

I’m so excited to get started!

Being a part of a supportive community is half of the fun, so please be sure to check in daily.

Now…let’s go meditate!

P.S. – Please remember to post the artwork on your blogs and share it on FB and Twitter! You can find sample tweets here.

  1. Everything passes, circumstances change all the time, bodies are born and die, sounds emerge and dissolve, the winter, the spring, the jobs, the relationships, the day, the night, health, illness, negative thoughts, positive thoughts, fear, sadness, happiness, governments. Physics proves that time had a start in the big bang and has an end in black holes. Everything passes except That that is aware of such temporal-ephemeral nature of things. Otherwise it would not notice it.

  2. I am so tired, still working to complete the 27-32 pages of the two papers due tomorrow. I still have not panicked; meditation is keeping me unusually calm. Last night after completing my other schoolwork and deciding, I just had to sleep, I thought about how I would normally keep pushing myself and feel absolute doom. However, I believe in my abilities and this I can do. While I want to be done before midnight tonight, I still have the buffer of 24 more hours on Sunday. I am in good shape. The meditation was short today again and was more like a quick prayer and vision of positive outcomes.

  3. I took the day off, and so I wanted my meditation to be more relaxed, too. I laid on the floor with one cat on either side of me and listened to Dan softly strumming the guitar in the other room. I just closed my eyes and relaxed. Conscious relaxation. I like that. :)
