Thank you for joining us for A Month of Meditation!

Welcome to Day 18!

(If you haven’t read what it’s all about, please click here first.)

I’m so proud of all of us for showing up for ourselves. For knowing that our soul craves this moment of stillness in our day, and for taking action to make that happen. So let’s all pat ourselves on the back for that!

Each day, we’ll click on that Day’s page, and we’ll leave a comment stating that we meditated on that day. That’s all!

If you would like to write more, that’s definitely welcome. It would be really great if we could share about our experiences, too: how we meditated, how long we meditated for, and what the experience was like for us.

Many of us will be using the Re-Awakening Guided Meditation Program, so we can share our experience with that as well.

I’m so excited to get started!

Being a part of a supportive community is half of the fun, so please be sure to check in daily.

Now…let’s go meditate!

P.S. – Please remember to post the artwork on your blogs and share it on FB and Twitter! You can find sample tweets here.

  1. Yesterday was another sun up to sun down writing day. I finally fell asleep in the middle of schoolwork and woke up this morning exhausted, but I only have today and tomorrow to finish both huge papers and two more class assignments. I actually started ahead of the weekly schedule, but there is so much work, I am now merely on time. I need to gain more momentum today to get back ahead of schedule. I still have the final test in one class next week, for which I have not studied. Since I am holding at high “A’s” in both classes I suppose I will maintain an “A” even if I bomb my papers, but as a writer, that just doesn’t sit well with my spirit. I haven’ t felt panicky, but I feel like I am on the edge of doing just that. Yesterday I only meditated for about 5 minutes before a breakfast of a piece of fruit. Today I took the same and the few minutes to journal today to make sure I do not stop my momentum. Onto completing one paper and the two assignments, I complete them NOW!

  2. Added a few minutes to my usual meditation time, and it felt nice–more relaxed. Gave me more time to get to “that space”–kind of like you (usually) need to be sleeping w/o interruption for awhile before you start dreaming. Might add a few more minutes tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone who’s sharing this process and can appreciate this subtle, inner journey.

  3. I’ve been all day practising bringing attention to breathing whenever I notice it is absorbed by thoughts and emotions.

  4. Going to do the Protecting Energy guided meditation now and then off to zzzzz land I’m sure…good night!
