Thank you for joining us for A Month of Meditation!

Welcome to Day 16!

(If you haven’t read what it’s all about, please click here first.)

I’m so proud of all of us for showing up for ourselves. For knowing that our soul craves this moment of stillness in our day, and for taking action to make that happen. So let’s all pat ourselves on the back for that!

Each day, we’ll click on that Day’s page, and we’ll leave a comment stating that we meditated on that day. That’s all!

If you would like to write more, that’s definitely welcome. It would be really great if we could share about our experiences, too: how we meditated, how long we meditated for, and what the experience was like for us.

Many of us will be using the Re-Awakening Guided Meditation Program, so we can share our experience with that as well.

I’m so excited to get started!

Being a part of a supportive community is half of the fun, so please be sure to check in daily.

Now…let’s go meditate!

P.S. – Please remember to post the artwork on your blogs and share it on FB and Twitter! You can find sample tweets here.

  1. I’ve switched recordings, so as not to get bored (or fall asleep too quickly). Tonight I’m listening to one that promises past life regressions. Not usually my thing, but figured I can think about my character from my novel who is from ancient Egypt :).

  2. I once read that if you hear distracting outside noise while you’re meditating, you can use it as a reminder to bring you back to the present–and to your meditation. Well, just now while meditating, my mind was drifting a bit when I heard what sounded like the neighbor either revving his motorcycle or testing his lawnmower–sounds that would normally irritate me. But they actually snapped me out of my mind-drift and back into the present, and I was able to resume meditating and focusing on the present moment–to the point where the noise didn’t even bother me. (Although I wasn’t exactly bummed when it stopped. :) ) Can’t remember who wrote that suggestion, but thank you, whoever you are–and I’m glad to pass it along. It actually works!

  3. Although I haven’t been checking in here every day, I’ve been meditating! This week I made a commitment to pick a specific time to do the meditation, and to link it to an existing habit so I’d remember. I linked it to my morning vitamin. I even wrote the word “meditate” on the vitamin lid.So far, so good. :) Blessings to everyone.

  4. Today I meditated later in the day. I started the day immediately with school to keep from getting distracted. I am doing quite well and I am proud of myself I am slightly ahead of schedule for the normal assignments in both class, while still working on the final papers. I am taking the evening off and plan to complete one paper tomorrow. I feel more calm and confident about my ability to complete all these assignments without my usual panicky stress to complete papers. They are always fabulous, but I normally worry like crazy. Meditating daily has provided a returned serenity to my thinking and I am sooo grateful. I received the first box of organic delivery today, it is all lovely and beautiful, and I cannot wait to chop and stir fry nature’s goodness for my heart tomorrow. I feel like my life is making a complete rejuvenating turn for the excellent indeed!

  5. Hi Jodi,
I meditated today a few times. They were short sessions but centering moments. At one point I had a nose full of lilacs and my heart was soaring. There is so much beauty around us.
    Blessings sister!
